Hi Eric,

Congratulations on your one year anniversary! That's quite an accomplishment. I enjoy reading your blog and appreciate your great insights into the logistics industry. Keep up the great work.

Eric, many congratulations on your first anniversary. I am just completing my first full year as a Supply Chain & Logistics consultant, and am wondering where the time has gone! Thanks for your stimulating comments - and I agree with you, there's still a lot to learn! Best wishes, Paul

It's a lot of work to publish as regularly as you do...thanks very much!

I enjoy the down to earth approach to some fairly advanced logistics topics. It's great to see others enjoy discussing the same things as I do.

I look forward to a great 2008.

Eric

Thanks guys. I've enjoyed the effort for a few reasons. First I've made some new friends and learned a lot from those who visit and write to me. Second, I've found that it has deepened several business relationships toward more personal ones.

Time is a consideration, but the nice thing about blogging is that its one hobby you can do from a hotel room on the road. Thats constructive when you travel as much as I do!

Freightdawg has also forced me to research many of the buzz topics of our industry. That has been very valuable professionally.

Thanks again for your kind thoughts. Your participation here is what makes this all great.

Wow. Not sure how I missed this post. Perhaps it was the holiday insanity.

Congratulations on a banner year of blogging. I use FreightDawg.com as an example in my talks with others about why executives should blog: You have greatly enhanced your own career while casting a very positive light on DHL. Win/Win.

Keep up the great work.
